Police hunt suspects accused of ‘hijacking car for a wedding’


Cape Town – Mitchell’s Plain cops are hunting for hijackers who stole a girl’s vehicle and used it to power a pair on their wedding day. According to a police source, the bride and groom were frightened when cops approached them on their huge day on Thursday, informing them the man they had employed to pressure them had stolen the luxurious Renault Duster SUV in advance that day. “On Thursday morning, a younger woman becomes at a store in Park Avenue in Westridge,” says the supply. “Two colored men in a purple vehicle approached her and demanded she give up the automobile keys.

“The vehicle was taken away, but the keys have not been recovered because the driving force was long gone.”Police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk confirms the incident and says the 31-12 months-vintage female driving force was ambushed shortly after 7 a.m. “It is claimed that suspects approached a 31-12 months-antique woman victim, compelled her out of her vehicle, and drove away. “No arrests have been made as yet.
